CM-7.2.13  Gen 19. 15-29  Ps. 26. 2-3, 9-10, 11-12  Mt. 8. 23-27

Cosmic connection: Blue skies first dawn, another hot one.

Question of the day:  How is my faith being challenged?

Lot is being asked to get out of the hills,

To take his wife and daughters, or be demolished with Sodom and Gomorrah soon. He protests and then agrees.

No one is to turn back, His wife does and she is turned into salt as she flees

Could Lot be being asked to have a little obedience instilled?

‘Lord, your mercy is before my eyes’

Let me not live with sinners or those who flaunt the law,

To do that would be a last straw,

Those dedicated to the truth, and not lie.

They are all in the boat, up come the winds,

Jesus asks Why are you terrified?

We are all here: O ye of little faith, He clarified.

It gives His challenge a new spin.

Cm-3.12.13. Ezekiel 47. 1-912  Ps. 46.2-3, 5-6, 8-9  Jn. 5. 1-16

Cosmic connection dark very early morn, a few stars, quiet

Question of the day:  What healing would I ask for today?

I don’t remember having a fear of water

When not quite teenage I taught bubble blowing to little ones,

Whose chins came up to36 inches what fun?

Ezekiel’s water was from the sanctuary life giving spirit from the altar.

The psalmist proclaims God as our refuge and our stronghold,

Certainly with Lenten thoughts going to what our Lord did for us,

We want to hold onto Him our Beloved, in whom we trust,

God helps us from the dawn until sunset every day He is faithful and will not withhold

Do the sick  have someone to help them get to the pool?

He is told simply, ’Rise, pick up your mat and walk’

What a gift of faith! The man did as he was told and became an active member of the flock,

Jesus did not mind that he had healed on the Sabbath being God’s jewel.

Create clean hearts in every one Lord of salvation,

Let us be praisers with gratitude to be a part of creation.

Cm- 4.1.12  Is. 50.4-7  Ps. 22. 8-9 17-18, 19-20, 23-24  Phil. 2. 6-11  Mark 141-15,47

Cosmic connection:  beautiful blue skies,  after a night of rain.

Question of the day:  We think our paltry days have ups and downs  How about Jesus on this day?

My mighty champion, prince of peace and my King!

Hosanna, hosanna to your triumphal entry

Riding on a simple donkey lauded by the gentry,

The crowds with loud Hosannas sing!

Abandonment sadly too often part of the human condition,

But this is Jesus crying out to his Father above,

Seeking His Father’s all embracive love

Getting ready to offer himself in kenotic submission.

Prepare a place for the Passover Feast,

The Marcan Passion goes all the way to the resurrection

Pilate fears an insurrection.

The apostles sleep in the garden awaiting the arrival of the high priest.

Christians realize Holy Week is here!

Jesus obedient unto death is still O so near.
