Cm-6.25.13  Gen 13.2, 5-18  Ps. 15. 2-3A, 3BC  5  Mt. 7.6, 12-14

Cosmic connection:  gray threatening skies, deep cloud layer

Question of the day: What makes it hard for me to follow this advice?

Lot and Abram are two brothers who must divide the gift of land.

Lot goes eastward into the fertile Jordan valley

.Abram wishes them to go separate ways not to fight about it nor sally.

For all time the land has thus been divided we understand.

‘The one who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.’

The blameless one who gives freely without exorbitant prices,

Who does no harm to a fellow human being,

Such a one with love and compassion others freeing,

With a peaceful heart daily suffices.

Jesus wants us to go the less traveled way.

Each will have his/her narrow gate,

We are to treat others as we would like to be treated.

There are few who find this way; we work at it every given day.

‘Jesus is the Light of the world,’

In the Spirit is our Christian Spirit unfurled.

CM-6.23.13  Zech 12.10-11. 13.1  Ps. 632, 3-4, 5-6,8-9  Gal. 3. 26-29  Lk. 9. 18-24

Cosmic connection: gray overcast threatening skies

Question of the day: How shall I thank God for the gifts of grace in my life?

We are to ponder one question today that Jesus asks:

“Who do you say that I am?”

He asks this of all his disciples, as if an exam,

Many are his titles through life emphasized as we need to accomplish our tasks.

Desire is the theme of our Psalm

An incurable longing for a relationship with God

The awesome God of the Creation story powers so broad,

All people are one such a unity in the diversity our balm.

Then Jesus tells us of his passion

And how passion is part of every disciples call,

Denying us and picking up our particular cross as it befalls.

Therefore we try to lose our lives for the sake of Christ learning love and compassion.

“My sheep hear my voice’

And learn how to daily praise, thank and rejoice.

Cm-2.25.13  Dan 9. 4B-10  Ps. 79. 8,9,11&13  Lk. 6. 36-48

Cosmic connection: blue sky day a bit chilly

Question of the day:

We admit our sin and seek mercy and compassion,

Not to make us feel better but to honor God’s name,

Then our faces will not be filled with shame:-thanks to the Lord’s passion.

‘Lord do not deal with us according to our sins.’

We ask for help and freedom of prisoners for the glory of the name,

Then we will give thanks forever declaring praise through all generations,

Pardon us, O Lord, give us back our peace, everyone wins.

Here we go again another rung on the ladder of perfection:

We are to be merciful as our heavenly Father is merciful,

Also we are called to stop judging,

Allow others to be human and do a bit of fudging,

Then our hearts will take on a new direction.

If we forgive gilts shall come to us, our treasure,

Pressed down and running over in good measure.

                                                                                                       ,

Cm-9.19.12  1st Cor. 12. 31=13.13  Ps. 33. 2-3, 4-5, 12. 22  Lk. 7. 31-35

Cosmic connection: cold crisp quiet morning, eagerly awaiting sunshine

Question of the Day: How can I act on the words of Jesus I have heard this week?

Love, love grace from above,

Patient, kind, not jealous, not inflated,

Keeps us in line and totally related,

Rejoices in the truth, thereof

“Blessed be the people the Lord has chosen as his own”

Giving thanks this day for life and grace,

Winging songs that are new going at a different pace,

The Lord love justice and right this day will show how we have grown.

Jesus compares us to children small,

Dancing in the city square who knows the correct way to care?

Follow John the Baptist, Jesus who? Sinners tax collectors do we dare

Vindication and wisdom come through all the wee ones grandchildren enthrall.

‘Your words are Spirit and life,

Let me listen and follow words leading to everlasting life.

Cm-9.17.12   1st Cor. 11. 17-26, 33  Ps. 40. 7-8A, 8B-9, 10, 17 lk. 7. 1-10

Cosmic connection:  dark early morning skies, quiet

Question of the day: What healing do I need most today?

Paul wants us to include everyone at the table,

Everyone should eat the bread and drink the cup equally,

With a touch of doing it obediently

And we should wait for one another is we are able.

We are to’ proclaim the death of the Lord until He comes’

Sacrifice or a gift to our deity the Lord sought not,-

But ears open to obedience to do your will, O Lord is my delight, I’ve been taught

May all who seek you exult, and desire that the name of the Lord be glorified in sum.

The gospel also focuses on obedience, the obedience taught to us through the faith of a pagan centurion. Who does not want to interfere with Jesus’ healing,

He centurion has a slave, who is in need of Jesus’ power to heal,

Our response in the Eucharist comes from this periscope unconcealed,

‘Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,

Say but the word and my soul shall be healed.’

Jesus response is “I have never seen such faith in all of Israel!”

“God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, -so rife,

That we, who believe might have eternal life”

Cm-2,12,12, Leviticus13. 1-2, 44-46 Ps. 32.1-2, 5, 10 1st Cor 10.31-11.1  Mark1. 40-45

Cosmic connection: Gray overcast skies, no rain a faint bird twirrer.

Question of the Day: How many lufe healings can you lay at the feet of Jesus in gratitude?

Wounds, why talk about them we all have them wats and all,

`Some may be healed over time; others stay with us way past our prime,

Encouragement is the compassion we need to pass out, as we imitate the divine. An order quite tall.

Let us do everything for th glory of God

Let us not give offense,

Follow the law of compassion our commonsense,

Treat everyone equally with authenticity and integrity not living a fraud/.

I could fill a page with the healings God has ptovided.

But rather ask him to heal me of any fear and empower me to be his compassion in the now,

Be steady and keep my hands in His vineyard upon th plough,

Help us to live undivided.

A prophet has arisen in our midst.

Open our hearts, O Lord, not to resist.

Cm-11.24.11  Luke gospel of the Ten Lepers

Cosmic connection gray overcast day damp due to rain.

Question og the day:  Do you allow yourself to be a foreigner this day?

Many many time in life we may experience exclusion,-
I admit I am very sensitive to being left out,
If only there were some who would reach out before in frustration I shout out,
After it all, the meqal we eat we may need a transfusion.

The lepers ask for pity, basically empathetic compassion,
On their way they were cured, Jesus told them to show themselves to the priest,
All of us then should share the wondrous deeds the Lord has done just bringing us to this feast
Then shall our exclusion cease and compassion will become the fasdhion.

Then we might all enjoy being foreignerss the once who return to give thanks
Praising eternally our God for giving us companions to fill our ranks.
