cts 8. 1B-8  Ps. 66. 1-3A, 4-5, 6-7aJn. 6.35-40

Cosmic connection:  clear skies, less wind, birds a-twitter

Question of the day: How has Jesus satisfied my yearning for Him?

Stephen, full of wisdom and the Spirit, reprimands elders and scribes,

Responding by throwing him out and stoning him

Forgiving hem and committing his spirit to the Lord owning

Their lack of faith and observance Stephen describes

The psalm reflects Stephens trust in his Lord,

Rock and fortress of refuge,

Boston’s injured quickly rescued,

Our we those who have such a deep trust fed by the Lord daily restored

Jesus too is upset with the leaders, who look for a sign,

Those w2ho do not believe he maligns,

But those who know it are the Father who feeds us Jesus: the bread of life, He records.

If Jesus is our Bread of life,

He all hungers are met with abundance rife.

CM-4.18.13  Acts 8/ 26-40  Ps. 66. 8-9, 16-17,20 Jn. 6. 44-51

Cosmic connection: cools and crisp and clear blue skied

Question of the day: Who has been my most helpful spiritual guide?

Philip travels and meets up with an Ethiopian eunuch,

Who is reading Isaiah the prophet, he sees water

And asks to be Baptized feeling he belonged as he ought to

Acknowledging he needs someone to explain the Scriptures

Bless the Lord who has not let our feet slip

Praises is always on the tip of my tongue

Daily I realize I am not that young,

I also review ho goo god has been for me my fortress my strong ship.

Jesus is our Bread of life,

The Eucharist becomes our nourishment,

Our Daily feeding with the Lord interceding,

Leading us to the Father who explains the Word sharper than a knife.

Let us be drawn by this father

Whoever eats this bread our armor.

Cm-4.14.13  Acts5. 27-32, 40B-41  Ps. 30. 2, 4, 5-6, 11-12, 13  Rev. 5. 11-14  Jn 21. 1-19

Cosmic connection:  clear  post foggy  skies, hooter, bird’s a-twitter

Question of the day: What can I do today to be more courageous in my witness to my life in Christ?

The disciples before the Sanhedrin  listening to their sentence,

They were told to no longer preach and teach in Jesus’ name,

But they need to obey God instead so they continued all the same,

Hey left the court rejoicing to have suffered dishonor quite independent

Our psalm is one which emphasizes praise and gratitude,

Asking the lord to change mourning into dancing,

With the Lord of Beauty romancing,

Resurrecting the afflicted with every grace and latitude

Jesus cooks breakfast for the disciples who have returned to their work

Simon Peter proclaiming,”I’m going fishing”

The Lord directs their work bread and fish dishing.

The Lord will be with us always making the impossible possible His perk.

Christ is risen, Creator of all,

Let us encourage one another to fulfill our call.

Cm-4.9/13  Acts 4.32-37  Ps. 93. 1AB, 1CD-2, 5  Jn 3. 7B-15

Cosmic connection:  dark cold, crisp, quiet starless early morn

Question of the day: Who around me needs my help today?

Being in one heart and mind no one was in need.

All was held in common, Barn bus son of encouragement,

Everyone would get the proper nourishment,

Sell everything and put it to the use of the Apostles.

Splendor and majesty how do they look?

Brilliant, magnificent, beautiful exceptional

Frustration when one word is used interchangeably for another perceptible,

So there is really no book to look finding the meaning to unhook.

These are the heavenly things, about which our Lord speaks,

To Nicodemus who is struggling to come to belief, anything but antique.

All is new to this convert: he must learn all things are possible with God, anything but weak.

Jesus must be lifted up that all might have eternal life,

Where we will live in the magnificent and beauty and splendor without strife.

Cm-4.5.13  Acts 4.1-12  Ps. 118. 1=2 &4. 22=24, 25=27A  Jn 21. 1-14

Cosmic connection:  overcast skies, dark clouds impending rain.

Question of the day: How is Christ encouraging me to share in his mission?

In the name of Jesus the Nazorean we are no longer the same.

Good deeds done the name there can be no blame.

Peter and John though are put in jail

But they continue their mission broadening their tale.

The Pharisees and Sadducees are upset by the healing.

Peter and John answer them revealing the power by which they

heal.

Emphasizing the Pharisees rejection of our Lord revealing

By this name we are to receive salvation through our faith.

Jesus the Nazorean is the stone rejected by those in power,

Becoming the central force within our being.

So close to us when we call, our faith seeing,

Wondrous things we see at every hour.

Jesus is on the shore; Peter and John in their boats,

Cast your nets to the other side

Haul in a catch     hard to believe,

Breakfast is ready already conceived.

It is the Lord gracing every mission.

Cosmic connection:  patch cloudy skies, half moon

Question of the day:  In whom have I recognized the presence of the risen Lord this week?

Repent is this Lent?

No a time for light and a new creation,

The renewal of baptismal vows for our salivation

We shall not be abandoned to the nether world

Because of the passion He underwent.

Hope is the virtue to nourish,

The Lord is my refuge, my baptism to remember,

Intimately the Lord holds me fast,

Ah Lord, that my life might last,

For I wish to exult in your praise with praise and thanksgiving deepening member, flourishing.

Mary Magdalen weeping, not recognizing,

Thinking Him to be a gardener, Jesus speaks to her heart,

Recognizing grace to impart,

Go and tell the others resurrection emphasizing.

This is the day the Lord has made,

Let not our joy fade.
