Cosmic connection: clear dark pre-dawn sky, full moon setting quiet
Question of the day: Where in your life do you have an issue with trust?
Life has taught Jeremiah that human beings are not worthy of trust,
Sad though it is humans are fickle,
To the point that we learn only in God or one lives in a pickle,
I the Lord probe the mind, where will the Spirit enthuse our next thrust of love our must.
Our hope then rests in the Lord, traversing a world with many pit falls,
Falling, rising living, dying to self belonging to those who hate evil,
Desiring at all cost to live without conflict and upheaval,
Living in peace, without any close calls.
The rich man and Lazarus—one worried about in the end being tormented,
How many ways might we be considered rich? People in Africa living in huts, would we with them switch?
Inundation of social justice issues to which we must dissent.
Let us all then be encouraged to live the Word with a generous heart
Through perseverance we shall yield a rich harvest on our part.
