Cm-12.6.11  Is.   40. 1-10  Ps. 96. 1,2, 3 & 10, 11-12, 13   Mt. 18.2-14
Cosmic connection: A cold crisp clear blue sunny cold day.

Question of the day:   Have you considered yourself as one of the little ones.

Isaiah wants the people to receive comfort.
The Lord is to speak tenderly,
Then there is a loud voice,
‘Prepare the way of the Lord’
A holy highway totally open to all,
The Way is unitive love which will not distort.

This lord will come to save with power,
The tender power of a sublime providential lover,
The bruised reed never to squash or cover,
Let not your Advent be another rush hour.

The parable of the worth of the 99 sheep and the one,
In the end they all become one as the ‘little ones‘,
For no one in this flock of the Son will be lost even every stray starts over just begun
All have equity and none shall be lost none shall be shunned.

Prepare ye the Way.
Find and embrace the stray.

CM-2.1.11 Isaiah 26. 1-6 Ps 118. 1& 8-9,19-21, 15-27A Mt.7. 21, 27

Cosmic connection: High fierce winds, clear blue skies, eucalyptus cleaned of its skins.

Question of the day: How study is your house what makes us your foundation?

Rock or sand, the parable commands,
Do the will of my Father in heaven,
Listen and act, do not give distractions their impact,
Care for self enough to act for others heart expands.

Our Lord has given us a strong city
With walls to protect us gates to allow all to enter just
For radically it our Lord, our rock, we trust,
Giving each person our utmost compassionate ability.

‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.’
We enter the temple and give thanks,
Grateful hearts a sign of simple joy,
Once again the just may enter reaching God’s heartstrings no ploy.

Blessed is the one who sits on your shoulder,
Angelic help making you a bit bolder.

Cm-8.16.11  Judges 6.11-24A  Ps. Ps. 85. 9, 11-12, 13-14  Mt 19.23-30

Cosmic connection:  gray skies little overcast quiet only human motors afar off, no birds too wise to get up this early.

Question of the day: Have you ever been jostled out of your  place in line?

Gideon, O Gideon fear not You shall save Israel from the Midianites,
How can this be done  I am the least of all,
You shall do it it is your call,
His offering us accepted Gideon is shy and wants to be out of the lime light

The Lord speaks of peace to his people
Peace to his people and faithful ones,
Intimacy kindness and truth shall meet; justice and peace shall kiss in the long run.
Truth shall spring up from the earth’ Justice shall look down from its steeple.

The rich shall find it difficult to enter the Kin-dom of Heaven
The picture with the camel and the needle cause a giggle
I don’t know if you or I could through this eye of the needle wriggle:
But since nothing is impossible for God who is our leaven.

Jesus became poor although he was rich.
So that through his poverty we might become rich through salvation What a  switch!

Cm-8.18.11  Judges 11.29-39  Ps.40. 5, 7-8A, 8B-9, 10  Mt.21. 1-14

Cosmic connection: gray muffled skies likely to burn off early, quiet

Question of the day?  Have you ever received an invitation and ignored it?

Jepthah O Jepthah, who were you for so long ago?
Wanting to fight against the Ammonites his daughter to sacrifice,
Later because of his success Jepthah becomes a Judge leader over Israel. His growing advice

We all are here, O Lord to do your will,
Help us to be authentic from head to toe,
Trusting we have your love and presence no matter where we go,
Give us ears open to obedience, give us a pep pill.

The Gospel is another parable one.   Not too sweet and light.
It reads like the front page of our newspapers violent
Where contemplatives would rather have all things silent,
Invited to the Wedding Feast they do not come, violence is done to the servers, God was enraged. Put us to flight.  Let us establish our priorities and see the light.

If today you hear his voice,
Soften our hearts in each and every choice.

Cm-7.28.11 Ex. 16-21, 34-39 Ps. 84. 3, 4, 5-6A, 8A, 11 Mt. 13. 46-53

Cosmic connection: gray skies, quiet a peeper here and there, no moon.

Moses did exactly as he was commanded by the Lord,

He built a dwelling place and pitched a tent about,

Within it he put the tablets all becoming the ark of the covenant to carry about

They also followed the movements of the cloud all in one accord.

The Ark the Dwelling place how lovely!

Such a place we long for even in a simple grove of shaded trees,

The nest of a sparrow where their young are cared for is called an altar of God’s expertise

Blessed are we who live in God’s house continually praising God each as a covey.

Once again the parable of the fisherman and his net,

Bring out the old (tradition) and the new and forge a new creation,

Angels will separate the good from the wicked and lead the righteous to salvation

The disciples didn’t quite get it yet

Open our hearts O Lord to listen to you Son,

His words have the gift of life ne’er to be outdone.

Poetry cm-7.27.11

Cm-7,27,11 Exodus 34. 29-35 Ps. 99.5, 6, 7, 9 Mt. 13.44-46

Cosmic connection: Cool clear skies so quiet only hear convent motors, no birds. Saw a sliver of a new moon.

Moses coomes down off the mountain

His face radiant shining bright

From being in the tent in God’s sight.

So much so afterward he would wear a veil over his face

Until he returned . coming out to the people to tell them what the Lord had said like a fountain.

Where is your mountain you holy worship space?

Where can you go to extol to adore, to praise?

Many people have only their inner heart to visit each day to receive grace,

The entire world could be our temple, our pillar of cloud our knowledge base.

Jesus defines the kin-dom of heaven as a treasure of great price,

Someone preached that the treasure is ourselves,

An interesting outlook which I ponder upon, and do not shelve,

If only we would share and let a little suffice.

I call you friends, the Lord said,

Because I have made known to you all that the father has told me that you might spread.
